Zscaler recently analyzed nearly one trillion AI/ML transactions across about 9,000 enterprises and found AI/ML activity grew 83% year over year across an ecosystem of 3,400+ applications, with 18,033 TB of data sent to AI tools, a 93% year-over-year
increase. Compounding the risk, Zscaler research found most enterprise AI systems can be breached in as little as 16 minutes, with critical flaws identified in 100% of systems tested.
Zscaler also sees early signals that threat actors are using AI to increase the scale, speed and sophistication of attacks. That raises the stakes for financial services organizations where trust, resilience and regulatory scrutiny are non-negotiable.
