Detection Engineering: What Security Leaders Need to Know

4:00 – 5:30pm PDT | Virtual

Event Overview

We are now defending the largest cyber-attack surface in history, and security leaders globally wrestle with the challenge of being able to detect attacks before they infect software and systems across disparate environments.

Detections-as-code is a new approach to managing detections. It involves applying software engineering principles to security operations and detections, giving security organizations the ability to write, test and maintain detections across environments – and at scale. It is critical that security leaders understand and adopt the detection engineering paradigm to be able to manage and scale their security operations.

Panther Labs was founded by a team of veteran security practitioners who faced the challenges of security operations at scale and set out to build a platform to solve them. The result is Panther, a refreshingly practical platform for threat detection and response powered by a highly scalable security data lake and detection-as-code.
