IAM Summit
Virtual Summit April 19 - 20, 2022
Year after year, identity is the most commonly exploited attack vector used by adversaries in cyberspace. On the enterprise side, compromised identities have been used to steal money and data, and in some cases, launch ransomware attacks that cripple organizations and disrupt operations. And on the consumer side, identity theft has been skyrocketing – the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) reported that identity theft associated with government benefits alone increased 2916% in 2020. When it comes to improving cybersecurity, more robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions have become the top priority for most organizations. ISMG’s 2022 IAM Summit will be the place to explore how identity-centric attacks have evolved, where things are likely to head in the years ahead, and what organizations should be doing to prepare. The Summit will bring together more than 400 attendees and subject matter experts to discuss not only how to address the risks associated with identity-centric attacks, but also how to deploy new solutions that improve both security and user experience.
ISMG's agendas provide actionable education and exclusive networking opportunities with your peers and our subject matter expert speakers.

Mistakes Were Made

The global cybersecurity market grew to $152.21 billion in 2020  - and yet, cyber-crime seems to be growing unabated. This is not sustainable. In this exclusive session, Cyjax.com's CISO Ian Thornton-Trump CD will provide his insights on the current topics of the paradox of customer and employee identity , the organizational post breach security trauma and the increasing pressure security teams are facing with rapid digital transformation. "It's not that executives don't understand the risks & vulnerabilities of their organizations,” he says. “But a cyber-attack arrives on the doorstep, and all of sudden the lack of security investment becomes highly visible for all to see - somehow the security message is just not reaching the right organizational ears."

Hybrid IAM with a Zero Trust Approach
Vivin Sathyan, Senior Technology Evangelist, ManageEngine

Cloud adoption indeed boosts digital transformation for organizations embarking on a modernization program - the main reason why organizations often opt for a hybrid AD approach. However, the other side of the coin w.r.t hybrid AD approach is, your network perimeters disappear. To address this new challenge, organizations must build a unified security strategy with hybrid identity management at the center.
