Organisations continue to expand their IT footprints by moving applications and workloads to public and private clouds. The potential payoff from such digital transformation is well-documented: well-executed programs deliver faster deployment, easier manageability and lower cost.
At the same time, moving to the cloud creates fresh risks, including security concerns and compliance challenges, some of which are still continuing to emerge. Many organisations also struggle to unlearn their on-premises approaches, to best achieve what cloud environments offer.
