Tom has over 30 years of leadership experience in technology, largely in manufacturing and high-tech industries. Tom joined Tanium from Global Resale, a leader in technology lifecycle management and sustainability. Prior to that he spent 5 years at General Motors helping lead the global transformation of IT and Information Security. Prior to that he spent 14 years in a number of global roles in the semiconductor industry, leading large transformation and M&A initiatives. Tom got his start in technology in the car rental business, helping revolutionize the industry with the introduction of automation and data analytics.
Tom has a deep knowledge of how large enterprises and manufacturing organizations operate. Though the course of his career, he has also held leadership roles in General Management and Finance. He grew up and spent much of his working life in Europe and is bilingual in English and German
