Transform from Security Awareness to a Security Culture

11:00-12:30 CEST | Virtual

Event Overview

As Sweden faces an increasing number of cyberattacks, such as the ransomware hit on Tietoevry, a leading Nordic IT services company, which caused widespread IT outages across healthcare, government, and retail sectors, the urgency for a stronger cybersecurity culture has never been greater. Phishing remains one of the top attack vectors, and organisations must do more than just train employees—they must create an environment where security is second nature. Businesses must now shift their focus from awareness to building a robust and sustainable security culture to protect against future threats.

The Tietoevry attack showed that technology alone isn’t enough—cybersecurity culture is key. Are organisations embedding security into daily operations to ensure resilience?

DISCUSSION POINTS

  • The importance of creating a security culture that goes beyond awareness for lasting impact.
  • Practical steps to seamlessly integrate security practices into daily operations.
  • Strategies to maintain an effective security culture through leadership changes and workforce turnover.
  • Aligning compliance with GDPR and NIS2 to build a stronger security culture.
