Clayton Smith is a Principal Security Specialist for AWS. He holds his MBA from Colorado State and earned a post graduate certificate in cybersecurity from Harvard. He also holds multiple cloud certifications. At AWS, Clayton meets with many security leaders and consults on best security practices in the cloud. He looks at security through the lens of an executive and sees security as a key business differentiator. Clayton has served in a similar capacity in other technology companies and has had the pleasure of working with many different verticals including Independent Software Vendors, Energy, Finance, Digital Native Business, Health Care and more. Clayton resides in Austin, TX with his wife and son. He also has an adult son who just started his professional career, post college graduation.
