Asset Visibility: The Foundation of NIS2 & DORA Compliance

6pm - 8:30pm CEST | Copenhagen

Event Overview

In response to the European Union’s NIS2 directive, organisations now have corporate accountability to protect critical systems and data from security threats. With a focus on incident management, enhanced network security and access control, the directive sets a baseline to ensure a consistent level of security against ransomware, phishing incidents and unauthorised access. As we approach the implementation deadline in October 2024, the need to secure IT environments and operational technology (OT) in essential industries has transitioned from a regulatory requirement to an organisational need.

Visibility stands at the forefront of this challenge, and the need to understand network activities, vulnerabilities and critical assets is essential, not just for compliance, but also to form a stronghold against latent cyber threats. The central question: how can you leverage visibility to navigate compliance mandates and strengthen your security defence?

DISCUSSION POINTS

  • Analysing the specific visibility requirements of NIS2 and DORA
  • Ways to optimise Incident Detection and Response to exceed the standards set out by EU regulatory frameworks
  • The implications of NIS2 and DORA in operationalising cybersecurity risk management
  • Establishing actionable breach reporting processes in line with NIS2 and DORA
