Security Modernization - Going Beyond ‘Check the Box’ Compliance
5:30 PM – 8:00 PM ET | Washington, DC
Event Overview
From edge computing to personal devices, zero trust, multi-cloud environments and the advent of Gen AI, it’s an entirely new workplace for government agencies to secure. And at a time when new skills and solutions are equally challenging to procure, the task for government security leaders is to both modernize and optimize.
What does modernization mean in today’s government security context? What are the barriers to adoption of certain modern digital solutions? How can agencies shift their cybersecurity mindset from beyond “operate” to “maintain?” And how can they exceed the minimal standards of “regulatory compliance” to ensure true industry-standard cybersecurity and resilience?
Discussion Points:
Meet federal goals and standards for zero trust, cloud computing and other modernization initiatives.
Overcome cultural and technological barriers to modernization
Work better with industry partners to leverage emerging solutions and skills
