Cyber Security: The Hidden Catalyst for Smarter, Faster Manufacturing
5:30pm – 8:00pm ET | Detroit, MI
Event Overview
Global manufacturing organizations have set out to improve their production lines, adding smart robots, IoT sensors on every machine, cloud-based analytics, and a digital twin of the entire plant floor. The goal is simple: higher output, lower downtime, and predictive maintenance that enable 24/7 production.
Yet as factories become more connected, their digital footprints expand, exposing new vulnerabilities that can jeopardize production, safety and trust.
And, once the attackers get in, the risk of impact is much greater due to outdated OS, flat networks, and limited OT visibility. As a result, cyberattacks have succeeded in taking smart factories offline, halting assembly lines and cascading through supply chains that depend on tightly synchronized schedules. To continue factory transformation, factories need to rethink their security architecture.
Against this backdrop, adopting a zero trust security posture becomes just as important for the modern manufacturer as digital transformation – and it’s time for security and technology leaders to treat it that way. By investing in both intelligence and zero trust security as the twin catalysts of growth, manufacturers can enable autonomous operations, adaptive supply chains and new digital revenue streams.
Register for this session to join your peers in a rich discussion about zero trust and how it can be a catalyst for smarter, faster manufacturing.
Among the discussion topics:
Resilience to what? – What are the current, most concerning cyber threats to manufacturing operations?
What got you here won’t get you there – where and how traditional approaches to resilience fall short in today’s digitally transformed manufacturing operation.
How to get budget – strategies for securing executive support and funds to enable a modern resilience strategy.
