Are You Ready for DORA? Ensuring Resilience and Compliance
6pm — 8:30pm BST | London, UK
Event Overview
The deadline for complying with the EU’s new Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is just months away. The new regulation, set to take effect on Jan. 17, 2025, aims to bolster cybersecurity across the financial services sector, including for banks, insurance companies and investment firms.
The DORA imperative is clear: ensuring Europe’s financial sectors remain resilient even in the face of severe disruption. For CISOs, preparing to comply with DORA, and proving their organization’s compliance on demand – not least for cloud environments – remains essential.
Accordingly, what best practices must CISOs pursue? What are common challenges organizations are encountering for demonstrating compliance for cloud environments? To what extent can technology help alleviate these challenges and streamline organizations’ approach?
This invitation-only roundtable on Are You Ready for DORA? Ensuring Cloud Resilience and Compliance will provide answers to these and other critical questions.
Guided by insights from Dinesh Nagarajan and Simi Deb from IBM, this invitation-only roundtable will also draw upon the experiences of the attendees. Participants will delve into the impact of DORA on their institutions, strategies for compliance and tactics for increasing oversight and accountability of third-party suppliers.
DISCUSSION POINTS
What are best practices for applying continuous compliance management to cloud environments
How do requirements and challenges for DORA differ from previous regulations
To what extent can automation and generative AI capabilities streamline organizations’ governance, risk and compliance response?
