Gen AI in the Enterprise: Protecting Users … from Themselves

5:30 - 8:00pm ET | Morristown, NJ

Event Overview

Generative AI adoption is skyrocketing, with 90% of organizations leveraging these tools. Yet, a staggering 72% of this usage occurs through Shadow IT – employees using personal accounts to access AI apps beyond corporate oversight. This creates a governance blind spot that enterprises can no longer afford to ignore.
Generative AI offers undeniable benefits – streamlined efficiencies, automated workflows, and rapid data analysis. With Gen AI co-pilots becoming indispensable and ‘agentic AI’ emerging as the defining trend of 2025, enterprises must balance innovation with robust security measures.
However, the risks are escalating. Netskope reports a 30-fold surge in data sent to Gen AI apps over the past year, amplifying the exposure of regulated data, intellectual property, and corporate secrets. The question is no longer if your enterprise is at risk, but how you are mitigating it.

Among the discussion points:

  • Governance – How are you sanctioning use of Gen AI – and gaining pre-emptive visibility into
    unsanctioned Shadow AI activities?

  • Data Security – How are you protecting sensitive data from being exposed through Gen AI apps
or inadvertently copied into someone else’s models?

  • Shadow AI – Blocking, DLP, SASE – how are you reducing risk from rogue Gen AI users?
