Building Resilience Against Ransomware Attacks: A Strategic Approach to Data Security

6:30pm - 9:00pm IST | In-person | Mumbai

Event Overview

Enterprise security is currently grappling with a formidable challenge that spans geographical boundaries – confront, contain and conquer growing ransomware threats and attacks. Ransomware attacks are increasing at an alarming rate across the Asia-Pacific region. Organizations are also struggling to decide whether to pay the ransom or not. Furthermore, paying the ransom offers no guarantee that organizations will successfully recover the critical data held by attackers.

As a security practitioner, you have the daunting task of building data resiliency in the aftermath of ransomware attacks. As the custodians of data, are you able to prescribe service-level agreements and recovery point objectives involving third-party service partners in case of a ransomware incident? Are you in a position to establish resiliency to bounce back and move forward in case of an incident?

If you are looking for answers to such questions, join Mark Bentkower, global alliances technical director, APJ, Veeam, at this invitation-only CISO roundtable to discuss the state of ransomware attacks, key challenges facing enterprise security, and how security has delivered its promise of building a resilient enterprise.

DISCUSSION POINTS

  • Exploring ransomware trends;
  •  Defining SLAs and RPOs involving third parties;
  • Strategic and tactical approach to building data resilience;
