Securing Autonomy: Governance and Access Control in the Age of Agentic AI

5:30 PM - 8:00 PM ET | New York, NY

Event Overview

As organizations begin experimenting with autonomous AI agents to accelerate decision-making, reduce manual work, and scale innovation, new identity and access risks are quietly taking shape. These agentic AI systems operate like users—but often without the same guardrails.

Unlike employees, AI agents don’t clock out. They function around the clock, access sensitive data, invoke APIs, and traverse SaaS environments using shared credentials or hardcoded secrets. And they frequently bypass established policies such as MFA, session expiry, or revocation protocols. The result? A growing Access-Trust Gap—where machines are granted access without corresponding oversight or accountability.

While some see this as a future problem, signs from early deployments suggest the risks are already here: unaudited agent activity, missing ownership structures for machine identities, and limited governance maturity. Security leaders are increasingly being asked to step in—but without a clear playbook.

Register to join a peer-driven conversation on:

  • Aligning identity, access, and security strategies in an AI-first era
  • Discovering and managing agentic AI systems and shadow AI
  • Governance models for machine identities, service accounts, and runtime secrets
  •  Balancing rapid innovation with least privilege access and auditability
