Third-Party Risk Management in Healthcare: Building a Better Model

5:30 PM - 8:00 PM ET | New York, NY

Event Overview

Third-party cybersecurity risks and incidents have increased exponentially for healthcare entities. But have your third-party risk management practice matured in parallel? Or are you still relying on questionnaires that were never effective, self-attestation (which is not a security control), and antiquated vendor management processes that fall apart after onboarding?

It’s time for healthcare cybersecurity leaders to take a new approach to third-party risk management, and that is the mission of this executive roundtable discussion: To build a better TPRM model.

DISCUSSION POINTS

  • With third-party incidents on the rise, what are the proper incident response processes to have in place?
  • What are effective mechanisms to monitor third-parties and ensure their cyber risks are being managed properly?
  • How do you keep TPRM on the radar of your business stakeholders and ensure they are educated about risks and resiliency?
  • Where are the TPRM gaps, and what are topics/actions that you de-prioritize due to lack of resources?
