Leveraging Automation to Maximize Security Defenses

4:00 – 5:30 ET | Virtual

Event Overview

Enterprises today face nonstop attempts to overwhelm or bypass their cybersecurity defenses.

With the volume and sophistication of attacks constantly increasing, many organizations are seeking greater defensive automation, including via autonomous security operations centers and more efficient analysts.

Automating defenses blocks more attacks outright, freeing security teams to focus on responding quickly and decisively so they can counter more serious, emerging threats. Autonomation can also help valuable SOC analysts and cybersecurity personnel avoid overload and burnout – whether they’re in-house or working at a managed security service provider.

What are optimal and achievable strategies for achieving the benefits of automation? What processes or tasks are suitable for automation?

DISCUSSION POINTS

  • To what degree can autonomy and automation be effectively used today?

  • Why do some organizations resist automation and what are effective strategies for driving cultural change?

  • How is AI altering offense and defense?
